Native to the southwest, in river bottoms and oasis, these towering single trunked palms add a tropical touch. Old fronds retained. Best in well drained soils, tolerant of seasonal moisture in very well drained soils. Drought tolerant but will need at least occasional summer irrigation for best performance.
