aka Mealy Blue Sage. Native to Texas plains, prairies through much of state. A workhorse, and a must in the native enthusiast's garden! Visited by hummingbirds, butterflies & bees frequently, blooms on and off March through November. Plant in masses for a dramatic effect & reliable summer color. Cut off old bloom stalks to keep plants tight and lush, shear back for a more compact form mid Feb. Most soils fine. Very drought tolerant once established.
