Prairie Flameleaf Sumac

A large shrub, or small tree that may form colonies over time. Can get 20' tall with a leaning habit. Native to rocky soils and full sun exposure. Will not tolerate poorly-drained soils, but does tolerate extremely alkaline soils. Beautiful fall color and numerous benefits to local wildlife. A "must" for the Hill Country.
