Quercus laceyii, Lacey Oak

Lacey Oak is a pretty native oak that is wonderfully suited for urban/residential plantings due to its smaller stature, tolerance of poor soils, and unusual blue-grey foliage with an attractive round crown. Oak wilt resistant alternative to Live Oak and Red Oaks in vulnerable areas. Flushing peach color spring and showy fall color. Needs good drainage, but will do well in clay soils, great drought tolerance once established.
