Prunus rivularis

aka Hog Plum. Native fruit plant. Forms thickets, densely branched, can be used to edge property, screening, for wildlife. Showy, fragrant white blooms in early spring magnet to pollinators esp bees, followed by sweet fruit birds & wildlife (plus kids in my experience as one) love! Like all of plum family, don't eat seeds. Scattered populations in creek bottoms through much of Central, Eastern Texas.
