Bauhinia macranthera

A small, multi-trunked tree with large "ponyfoot" shaped leaves and elegant pink blooms in summer. A cousin to the beloved Anacacho Orchid tree, which typically blooms white. The flowers and leaves are larger on this species. Native to Northeastern Mexico, and extreme Southwestern Texas.
