What a prick! Every rose has its thorns, and so does this tall growing grassland beauty. Ethereal pink to red blooms of diaphanous silk like petals glow when backlit and take any sting away, plus attract pollinators. Reseeds, let form seedheads at end of season. Best in lean, well drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
